This
weeks question from Susan Guess in New Jersey Dear
George: Is it important to use the same brand of shampoo and conditioner?
Answer:
Using two different brands that are not chemically compatible actually can do
more harm than good. This accounts for why people must change shampoo's after
a period of time because their hair is no longer responding well. Using the same
brand shampoo and conditioner is better because they are formulated to work in
harmony with one another, each working off the benefits of the other. The
hot hair color trend seen in Hollywood is the "two tone blonde" look. This colorful
effect works best if your natural hair color is light brown, dish water blonde
or graying. Not recommend for dark brunette's. To get the look, the natural hair
color is lightened all over with a high lift ash blonde tint followed with a "foil
weaving" using bleach or a pale blonde high lift tint through the crown and around
the face. This
months beauty tip: To avoid tangles always brush your hair before shampooing
and use a wide tooth comb to spead conditioners through your hair especially if
its shoulder length or longer. Brushing your hair before sleeping on it will make
your hairstyle easy to managing in the morning. |
