Dear George,
I am sooo tired of my hair. Every time I try to get that Heather
Locklear "blonde" I get a goldish color with ashie
lowlights. And I can't ever get a fresh cut because my straight,
thin, fine hair never grows!

Pamela, thank you for sharing your hair concern with me.
You need to find a good experienced hair colorist. Not all
hair stylists can do color well. Hair coloring is an exacting
art and requires some expertise. Your natural hair color is
not being lightened enough which accounts for the goldish
shade. And it sounds like the stylist is using an ash blonde
tint to cover up the gold-brassy tones. I suggest you visit
or call a few salons and ask for a color consultation with
their most experienced salon colorist. Take a picture of Heather's
hair color with you. Most good salons offer free style and
color consultation.
As for getting your hair to grow, I would recommend trying
a special hair supplement program called Hair Formula 37.
I've worked closely with the makers of Hair Formula 37 for
years and have seen literally thousands of happy customers
rave about how it can promote fast, healthy hair growth. See
