Here is an idea for any salon to gain business, and promote the salon. 1) Pick a non-profit org. you like. 2) Make 500 flyers, stating your salon promotes this org. and offer $5.00 off the cost of a perm or color. 3) Go to the org. and tell them you want to donate $2,500. to them. 4) Explain that their volunteers must hand out the flyers and promote it. 5) For every coupon you get ($5.00) will go to the org. You will have many "salespeople" promoting your salon for free.
Also, the donation you give is tax deductible (US), and you can advertise
again, stating you gave XYZ org, $2,500.00 in other media.. It is good
public relations. The org. you pick is vital. Make it an animal shelter,
cancer society....something everyone would not be opposed to.
