1) Gel Packs should be placed in the heat cap. Close up the three pockets with the velcro.
2) Place heat cap in the Microwave.
3) Heat for 30 to 80 seconds depending on desired heat. Heating time may vary with different microwaves. Test heatcap with 30 seconds first, if needs more time heat in 15 second intervals. Microwaves vary in temperature depending on wattage. DO NOT OVERHEAT GEL PACKS! Check to make sure you did not overheat the gel-packs and that there is no leakage of gel! If there is leakage, DO NOT USE replace with a new gel pack!!
4) Flap should be placed forward on head

Hot Water / Stove Top Heating Instructions:
1. Bring 3 quarts of water to a rolling boil.
2. Remove water from heat/stove burner and immerse "ONLY" gel packs in the heated water with kitchen tongs for not more than 5 minutes. DO NOT PUT THE HEATCAP IN THE BOILED WATER!
3. Remove gel-paks from water with kitchen tongs and allow hot water to drain, wipe dry, let cool for 1 minute. If too hot you may use cotton gloves to handle the gel-packs! DO NOT OVERHEAT GEL PACKS! Read warnings before using your Microhaircap.

Washing Instructions.
The heat cap is machine washable, gentle cycle and air dry preferred. Put on air dry if you are putting it in the dryer. But, for best results hand wash with gentle soap, then air dry. Do not put gel-packs in the washer. Rinse gel-packs with warm water and soap and then towel dry and put back in plastic box. Keep gel-packs in a safe place away from sharp objects.
